Susan Kinsey was raised in Moorestown, New Jersey, and later moved to California, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego. After a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, she chose to pursue a more direct role in patient care and went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Susan has extensive experience caring for surgical patients across multiple subspecialties in both the operating room and clinical setting. At Total Spine & Brain Institute, she focuses on providing attentive, compassionate care for patients during their hospital stay and throughout the immediate postoperative recovery process.

Known for her warm and approachable demeanor, Susan is committed to ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and well cared for during every stage of treatment and recovery.

Outside of medicine, Susan enjoys traveling, fitness, paddleboarding, spending time with her two dogs, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles — Go Birds!
